F*A*M*I*L*Y

So I was waiting for a simple letter in the mail with an insurance card I thought, however I received a small package in the mail instead.  One would say what a nice surprise, so did I except knowing my family tears were sure to be in the mix.  I couldn't have been more right.  10 years ago last week I had two life changing experiences happen.  One was September 11 and the other was a few days before when I lost my absolute best friend.  No one had or has connected with me in the same way.  My mom had reminded me last week and I told her like I could forget anyway, in the package I received tonight there was a card from this best friend and a beautiful picture of her as well.  Talk about pulling at the heart.  Along with these items there were two more beautiful cards and some wonderful pics as well of my parents and I individually.  Again talk about pulling at the heart.  To top it all off there was my necklace from Christmas which reads "There is no place like HOME".  WOW!!!  That really brought on the water works.  However, it also made me think about how true that statement truly is, not only for this life if you have been blessed with a wonderful family, but also for our ultimate home.  I love my earthly home so much that I can't even fathim how much more wonderful my ultimate home is going to be.  I have truly been BLESSED!

Farewell My Friends

So as many of you know I have been working two jobs which equals seven days a week of work!  CRAZY, I know.  However, this is my last weekend working at my other job.  I love both my jobs and the individuals I work with but time seems to escape me when all I do is work, sleep and eat.  I am so grateful for the opportunity that I had to work with the individuals and I hope that one day once we have passed the veil I will be able to find them and see them in their perfect beings.  They are truly special people

Girls Day

Yesterday I had a much needed girls day with some of my roomates.  It was nice, we did a little shopping and grabbed some lunch.  Can I say that Wingers is now one of my favorite restaurants.  I also want to note that moving out was and is one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I have been blessed with amazing roomates.  I love all the good times we have and all the advice that we share with one another.  All I can say is that life is one big adventure and that Heavenly Father knows us and each of our needs better than we do.  I am so grateful for the knowledge of the gospel in my life and for the love that my Father in Heaven has for me.

Someone Special

Last nigt I was able to skype with someone very dear to me....SILVI.  This girl is amazing!  I was blessed with the opportunity to know her on my mission.  She technically lived in the north mission, but she hung out with a family and a ward in my mission.  She is one of the most wonderful people one could ever know.  It was wonderful to actualy see her and talk to her again, it has been 2 yrs.  If I could I would so fly her here and let her meet all the important people of my life.  I LOVE YOU SILVI!

An Eventful Day

So today started out GREAT!  I went and hiked the Y with a friend and that was neat to see the view from the top and to see how tall the Y is.  Then I headed off to work and burnt my thumb and almost started a fire and found out that softball starts this week.  I am sooo excited however, it is slow pitch so I hope I can actually hit the ball. :) Also came home and found my Shillow looking all cute and chubby!  I love days that are full of excitement and good times.

Responsibility What's That?!?!

So my life right now is pretty hectic!  I moved to have a social life and to hang out with some friends from the mish, but so far life has been super busy and too crazy to have a consistant social life.  I pretty much am at work or catching up on some z's.  Don't get me wrong I have a BLAST when I do stuff, but that's pretty spaced out.  Why on earth did I ever want to be an adult so bad when I was younger?! ;)

One FUN day!

So today was absolutely AMAZING!  I took a day off and hung out at Lagoon with a roomie.  I have to admit that though I was terrified on some parts of the rides I had a blast!  I have never been an adventurous person, but moving has helped change that.  I have come to find that some things are not so bad when you actually try them and others are as bad as you thought. ;)  Anyways, I am enjoying coming out of my shell or expanding my horizons by enjoying life in a different way.  I am grateful for those who have helped me and continue to help me branch out and live life to the fullest.  As a little side note for those who work at Lagoon not a smart idea to have a stamp on everyones hand with an arrow under the words FUN SPOT.
